A Little Something About "Bijou"
Bijou's concept started out as a tribute to Anissa's French grandmother, Rose Langevin Benoit. Always concerned about her skin and the products she used, Rose left a lasting impression that would one day catapult Anissa into the beauty industry. Bijou is a family owned skin care studio that is concerned with the well being of its clients. A blend of Asian relaxation techniques and European flair, Bijou provides an escape for anyone desiring a feeling of total bliss.

A Little Something About Anissa
Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Anissa Belanger has made Columbus , Ohio her home since the late 1990's. In 2003, she received her esthetic training from the Ohio State School of Cosmetology. Her experience includes training co workers as a makeup coach for Aveda salons and studying customized makeup. As a master esthetician and certified lash extensionist, Anissa has been an active member of the skin care industry for almost 5 years and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art at The OhioState University.
Anissa has studied Eastern philosophies most of her adult life and has incorporated those disciplines in the use of Asian relaxation techniques with European skin care principles. Anissa is a Level 2 Reiki* practitioner and has extensive and advanced knowledge of customized cosmetics, skin care treatments and brow design.
